Good food with bad workers lol, need to teach the workers taking orders to stop using their phones and take the right order. The wait can also be painful if it's busy

I use to come to C&J all the while for their delicious fried chicken and macaroni salad. Unfortunately the quality and taste just isn't the same. I decided to drop it cause it been a while. First off they didn't have any fried chicken so I went with the jerk chicken, rice and pea and coleslaw. And an order of stew peas since a lot of people was ordering that. The coleslaw, the jerk and rice and peas was soooo dry with no flavor smh. The stew peas was sooo salty it was like a stroke waiting to happen.

I'm very disappointed. I totally remember why I stopped coming here. I gave it another chance today but now I guess I'll just hang it up for good with this place. The C&J in Brooklyn is way better I must say..

Completely unprofessional and rude. High wait times and mediocre food. Don't waist your time.

Very disappointed I travelled from Brownsville to get some food and everything burn up. I ordered an oxtail with rice and peas and coleslaw salad. The rice was didn't appear burnt but the taste was beyond the point of burn. The oxtail was no better way to much browning until it was bitter. The coleslaw was good until I bucked one spot in my plate which was extensively sweet. My entire stomached turned till I found it necessary to write this review to help some one else. Let's not forget to mention the price I had a large which cost $13 and a juice which was $2 totaling $15 down the drain.

I ordered a medium oxtail dinner with macaroni salad I was provided with 6 oxtails and a lot of burnt rice for 11 dollars I am not pleased with this service. Also i was charged .25 cent to put my macaroni salad on the side I will not buy from here ever again.
